Off to the hospital

well off to the hospital this morning to have my hysterectomy done and then a couple days of r&r on the surgery ward..I guess this is my version of a vacation :)

Girl, if that is what you call a vacation, I think you better have a word with your travel agent! I'll be praying for your swift recovery. Oh, and enjoy the green jello...... :)

I hope all goes well. I'll keep you in my thoughts. And I have a word of advice for you regarding hot flashes. Well, two, actually. Baby Wipes. I kept a bottle of them in my backpack when I went into menopause and pulled them out without shame whenever I needed to cool off. They're a godsend.
