Have any of you thumbed through this? I peeked at it while in line at the grocery store today. It was pricey, I think $12.95 or so.....but looked really interesting from what I saw. Might have to go back and buy it, since it had a perfect example of the craftsman colonnade room divider that I want to build in the bungalow. (Or, rather, replace the missing one that someone tore out )
Here is what the magazine looks like:

I just found this magazine today at the store and thumbed through it. I was going to buy it until I looked through it but didn't because I really didn't see anything earthshaking in it, nothing that would help me with my house renovation.

From the link you posted you better get it while you can. Out of print and limited print. That sounds forbidding! Not to discourage you from buying the magazine but have you checked out sites for bungalows like American Bungalow http://www.ambungalow.com/AmBungalow/home.htm or Old House Journal http://www.myoldhousejournal.com/forum/categories/2114602:Category:158/listForCategory? Either one should be able to give you a nice example of the collonades (sp???) and you get a chance to sneak a peek at others homes. Especially American Bungalow. Some of the people on there have some fantastic homes and are very willing to help out someone in need.:)

I think their title is really attractive as this one is weak nerve of every people and they want to decorate or reinnovate their old home for their living. But however I think the price of this one is bit higher.
With such price you can subscribe for the professional news letter of a recognised interior decorator. Do consider this one as well.

As long as you have a pretty good idea on your home remodeling I think you should trust your guts and go for it. Sure, magazines are great but they don't fit all the homes together, they can only give us tips and new ideas. When I remodeled my home I got help from Rochester remodeling (http://www.rochesterremodeling.biz), soon after they evaluated my home and asked me what I want they came with a great project, I couldn't have done it myself.
