posting pictures

I've never posted pictures before and haven't a clue as to how it's done. Any info would be greatly appreciated. :confused:

I'm not really sure, but I was just playing around with my User CP and noticed a place where we can create our own photo albums and upload pictures. Perhaps that's how we're supposed to do it here?

I like the idea of being able to have our own photo albums on here!

I've been meaning to open a photo bucket account and get an album going there, but this might be better.

I posted some pics in an album - was very easy - if I can do it anyone can!;)

You can create albums on your profile by selecting the "Quick Links" up on the menu bar, and then "Pictures & Albums." Once you create an album, you should be able to use that link in your signature if you want to have a quick link to an album.

This is my first go at vBulletin, so I'll look around and see if there's a way to make a more "public" album repository.

Thank you RoseMary - we had to really scale down when we moved here from the other house which had twice the space of this but we kept stuff we really liked and nothing matches but I just call it eclectic;)

I just created an album and added three pictures. It was very easy! I'm looking forward to adding to the collection!

Is there a trick for getting your CP profile pic to show up? I loaded one that isn't too large, but it isn't showing up...

I had that problem with mine, too. Even after I resized it, I kept getting a message that the upload failed. :confused:

Lnz you are uploading a profile picture. It doesn't show up as a avatar. It does show in your profile doesn't it?
I don't see an option for an avatar.

It didn't show up anywhere, Mem. I kept getting the "upload failed" message.

I haven't seen a option for an avatar either.

The same thing happened to me with the same error message...

It did it to me but after I clicked Browse, the photo I chose showed up and instead of scrolling down and clicking save or whatever it says I just proceeded on and it was there. Duh???? does that make sense. Don't click save after you see your picture. No avatars though only profile pictures.
Get huh? Cause I'm not sure if that makes sense. When you see the photo don't do anything.....LOL Leave back slowly away and run.:p:p
