heads up-computer issue

Just so you ladies don't think I jumped off the edge of the Earth I'm having a problem with my laptop at home. My dd was helping me clean and sat the vacuum on top of the power cord to my laptop while using the vac hose/wand and it must have busted up a wire or something inside the cord because no power now. And the battery is dead. The sometime IT guy said that he'd look around his office and see if he can find one for me to use but he doesn't come in regularly. Need to talk to somebody about ordering one or something. Just haven't got to it yet.

So don't panic! I'm thinking of you gals, just can't get in here. (I snuck on at work to do this part, don't dare do it too often).:eek:

I'm sorry to hear about your computer problems.

I recently found a laptop power cord in my son's room (which he no longer needs) and I'm sure the chances of it being what you need are slim to none...but just in case, the # on it is: F3X171-10 and it's a BELKIN. I'd slip it into a padded envelope in no time, if it would fit your laptop.
