Our first snow.....

We are getting our first snow this morning....as of now the ground is getting covered with peaks of grass poking thru... Yea, I love the snow with the moon glistening down at night, so beautiful. Guess I'll turn the police scanner on, there are always those handfull of people that don't realize the roads are slippery at the first snow and end up in the ditch. ;)

Sounds lovely! Our first snow just melted last week, and I'm ready for a breather before we get any more! Are you going to take the kids out to build a snowman?

I know it must be so pretty!! I love to look at it at night, too~especially with a full moon.

We haven't had any, yet, and some winters we don't. We had more than our share last year, so it may pass us by for a season.

Not much snow on the ground, just a dusting now, the sun melted it. Been sitting here on the computer and the fireplace and furnace keep coming on.....checked the temps and the wind chill is 11 degrees tonight...wow, no wonder me and the dogs are cold. lol It was in the 50's last week here.

Marie I love snow too - especially the first one. It's especially pretty when the heavy flakes are falling and there's no wind. They fall straight to the ground. Now I want it to snow too!;)
