Has anyone ever heard of or done microconcrete for flooring or counters? You are supposed to be able to pour it over existing, stable surfaces? We would love to do that in our guest bath to cover the ugly zebra tile and in the kitchen on the counters.

I've never heard of microconcrete but have heard of using concrete for a counter. I've been kicking that idea around for awhile for my kitchen but just haven't taken the leap. :o:D Does it have microfibers in it for stability and that is where the micro comes from?

I think the "micro" refers to the ultra thin layer of concrete that covers the ugly, stable surface. I think we've decided to do faux slate tiles in the guest bath instead of the concrete. It's only 50 bucks for the whole room, and we may consider concrete for the counter tops...
