Good Morning Everyone....

It's been a little quiet around here. ;) I hope everyone is well, or if you have not been feeling well that you are better. The weather here in NW Ohio is crazy.....40 degrees this morning, and supposed to reach 50 this week. Our 10 inches or so of snow will be melting quickly, which means everything will be a muddy wet mess.

I will be sending in my Activity Director assignements this week, and should be able to take the test in the next 2 weeks, so hopefully will have my certificate soon. I am working on getting things planned for our trip to Florida in April, then May 13 I will be taking Ashley to the airport for her 3 mo trip to Germany. We are also getting things ready for her dorm move in the fall.

I am counting the days till I can start painting inside......so that when warm weather comes I can be outside. I have a lot that I want to do. Life around my house will be pretty quiet, as Ashley leaves May 13, Dave works 2nd shift, and Austin won't move back home till August, which means I will be home alone Mon thru Fri for 3 months....somehow that just doesn't sound that exciting for me. I am going to miss Ashley so much.

So, what have you all been up to? Any projects going on?

Good Morning back atcha!

We've been painting the living room...well, my husband has. I've been living in destruction since! LOL... I've been doing some small projects though, refinished a bread box and couple of frames, made some silhouettes. Yesterday we visited a salvage yard...a real bust. Today we'll reset the furniture, and tonight we'll attend a Valentine dinner at church. Other than that... haven't been doing much! ;)

Spent the weekend pressure washing my bird cages for my parrots. Weather was gorgeous, so spent the entire weekend outside. Tooks some things to the Goodwill to donate, found a gorgeous stained glass light for my kitchen at Lowes. Looks great and was on sale for 70% off. Gave the 5 chiwi's a bath and spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and enjoying the sune:D

Sounds like everyone has projects going! I painted a spice shelf that hubby made me and also a little bread box. I'm not quite through with it--I'm thinking I might want to stencil something on it, but can't decide what.

Marie~congrat on being ready to take your test!

Kathleen--I hope you get everything back in place and can relax!

VG--love the light. I've been thinking about buying a stained glass one for my dining room, but most I've looked at have those teensy little light bulbs in them, and since we do do our bills at the table, I need some real light!
