Vote for new roof color

I finished painting in the fall and need a new roof in spring.
I put together a collage of roof colors using the OwensCorning Virtual Designer. Each photo has a number next to the mailbox. I'd love to have any input. Just your top 2 or 3 favorites or none with other suggestions.

I like 4 and 9. The red on the roof in 4 is a nice match for the brick at the bottom, and I do like the contrast between the dark roof in 9 and the color of the siding.

I voted:D I really liked #1 and #4. I am partial to anything red and green. I have a dark green roof and love it:)

I like grey b/c it is neutral. We had a light grey roof and I like it a lot. I was thinking brown but wanted to go with something a bit more reflective (we live in the desert) so a light grey roof for us it is. I liked a little bit darker for you.

I like green, but since your home color is gray, the charcoal color would look better.

I think that the #3 and #7 roof material are the most practical because they go with the house as it is now, and also if you want to change the color of the house, then they will go then. I think that the darker,more extreme colors, such as green, red or black will in effect paint you into a corner with the colors used in the future for your house body or trim. And those colors tend to be slightly dated I think. Good luck!

Between all of you, family, and other friends, the winning choice
was #4 (red). Lucky for me that my wife also chose that color.
