HI from South Carolina

Hi everyone! I was a subscriber to Cottage Living and something of a lurker on the boards there. I enjoyed reading about everyone and everything that they were doing. Glad to find this site and decided to to be a joiner rather than a lurker. My 2 sons (26 and 22) no longer live with us, so my husband and I have bought a cottage on a small lake and are renovating. We are downsizing from 3200 sq ft to about 16oo when all the renovations are done. I have lots of pictures and will get my husband to show me how to post them. I know that I will need plenty of advice from you who have "been there, done that."

I live just over the mountains in Tennessee; however, both my husband and I went to college in South Carolina. You are in a beautiful state very close to my heart. Welcome to the boards - - we are glad you are no longer "lurking".

Rubyslippers, don't know which schools ya'll went to in SC...I went to Winthrop, my husband is a Wofford grad, 2 boys at Clemson.

I hope to post pictures soon of the cottage on the lake.
