Where is the photos of Lisa. Show us and accordingly we will be able to guide you. Seems to me that you have forget to attach the photos of such refrigeration.
This question certainly raise curiosity on me as well and I want to know about this.

Lisa -
What's the boxed in thing with the plate hanging on it next to the microwave?

That was a very tricky little thing to work around in my kitchen. It's the chimney.

I absolutely never thought of this until I posted these pictures. I don't know where my brain was! I need an opinion poll: Should I paint the insides of the upper cabinets? Right now, they're just stained.

Lisa - what about wallpaper inside the cabinets? I have the beadboard cabinets and want to do the wallpaper in a floral pattern to "break up" the lines. Just a thought...

It's a great idea ~ visually, but wallpaper and I don't have a very good relationship. I'm thinking a light blue color would be bright and pull in some of the colors from my sunroom. What do you think?

Yes, light blue would look good - it does look dark inside your cabinets but maybe it's just the photo.

I think light blue or white would work inside your cabinets. I suppose whatever color you choose should be the one that works best with your dishes to make them pop. If your dishes are white, then blue might be the best choice. Are your cabinets lighted?

Lisa
Something I did on my cabinets was paint the backs the same color as the walls. It gives you the appearance of being built-ins or shelves instead of a cabinet. Or at least that was my theory when I did the cupboard that I took the doors off of and left off. :)
I agree it does look dark in those cupboards so some sort of light color would go a long way. :D

It looks darker in the pictures than it really is, but I think paint would make my dishes pop.
