Does anyone know how to hang a Christmas wreath on a car? I've seen it done and it looks so cute. I'm also thinking about running lights around the edges of my vintage trailer in the driveway. (I gotta spruce up the trailer trash look of my driveway. :D) How would I attach lights to metal. Help!

couldn't you use magnets with hooks on them? Or just magnetic sheet strips to attach the light strands to the trailer. I'm visualizing those big ol' lights from ages ago.
As for the wreath on the car. I think that people just wire it to the grill, there must be somehting out there though, if not invent somethng and make loads of money to buy more stuff for the groovy trailer. ;)

My groovy trailer thanks you for the ideas. I have those extra big light! I got a barn full of old Christmas stuff from my in-laws a few years ago.

Would you be able to use one of those metal over-the-door wreath hooks, but instead, close it in via the hood? I'm not sure logically whether that would work, but perhaps it's an idea, anyway.
Hey Lisa- I've seen frig magnets with a hook- if it's metal that would work.
Happy Holidays!

We've wired wreaths to the grill before and it worked well. One year my husband strung Christmas lights around the bed of his truck and that was pretty cool. I don't know how he did it though...we weren't married at the time but everyone commented on how pretty the lights on his truck were :)

Lisa...if there's anything that sticks out the least little bit on the trailer--a screw or rivet, something like that--you could use floral wire to hold the lights and wrap it around those. Or if there's something on the roof that you could attach wire to, you could run the wire from there to the light string.
Refrigerator magnets would probably be much easier though. :D

Well, I have lots of floral wire and there are lots of screws and divets. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks!
