Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted - it's been crazy here with life and our cottage projects have slowed down a bit, though my studio is coming along! But I wanted to make sure you all knew about this years 3rd Annual Cottage Charm giveaway event.
Last year, we had over 54 participants to offer cottage style giveaways on their blogs for this month long May event. The Cottage Charm Giveaway event is a great way to discover new cottage, romantic,and vintage oriented blogs, as well as vendors and talented artists. I am so excited to announce that this year, crafters and artists from both Lollishops and Etsy's Cottage Style Street Team have been invited by their group leaders to join us by adding their own fabulous giveaways! This year's goal is to reach 75 to 100 giveaways - lets work together and see what we can do!
This year's blogwide drawing will be on May 30th, 2009. If you would like to host a Cottage Charm giveaway, you have the entire month of May to post it to your blog. Hosting a giveaway makes you eligible to enter the drawing for this hostess gift.

How to Sign Up & Participate:

It's simple. In summary, you have until Friday, May 29th, 11pm Central to post your "Cottage Charm" giveaway offering on your site along with the small Cottage Charm banner link (the link is the link above). Your giveaway will then be posted in the official giveaway listing. Encourage your readers to enter their names (on your site) for a drawing (by you) to win your charming cottage themed giveaway. To keep things simple, you choose your own sign up and drawing methods, how many cottage charm giveaways to offer, shipping details, etc., ... Use your own definition of "Cottage Charm" for this giveaway- the possibilities are endless! You can give away books, your own crafts, thrift store finds, new items, yummy treats, recipes, vintage goodies...goodness, I could go on forever! Just have fun with it! At some point on Saturday, May 30th, everyone participating will post on their blog the winners of their giveaways. So the more participants (givers and receivers!), the better! Hopefully everyone has plenty of time to come up with something special to give to their readers.
As giveaways are added to the list, I will also add the giveaway links here under this thread. I hope as many of you as possible will be able to join us in this years Cottage Charm Giveaway Event!
