Home tours - virtual

Hey ladies,

We all talk of our homes so much and post little snippets of them here and there. I think we all should take some time to clean them up (as that is the excuse we use not to take pictures) and then do a walking little tour of each home with pictures. Then post our tour. We can tell so much about each other by how we decorate our homes...and it would be fun to boot.
What do you think? Any takers?

Sure- it would be fun- and good timing for me- we are putting our Victorian farmhouse on the market next week.... Oh this is soooooooooooooo hard to do after living in the home for over 20 years, and building it ourselves.

BUT life changes- we also have the beach home, and we would LOVE to move closer to my daughter and her family. We are now about 15 minutes away, but would like to move closer-as in walking distance... Free babysitting :D

I've posted several pictures of our home in my album under profile. I don't know how to post pics any other way.

Whey you are typing a post you click the paperclip and it is how you attach pictures..but it might be easier if we all did them in a photo album as the attachment to posts is limited to 5 pics..
we could all post an album titled something like - a virtual tour of my home

Now I need to get cleaning..hahaha

It would be cool to do it again at the holidays to see how everyone "decks the halls" so to speak :)

Lets all shoot for having our pics up and running by June 1st. Does that sound possible.?

Wow I forgot you had lots of pics on your album page..I remember now as I told my sister about your table that is painted on the top...she was trying to think of what to do on her table that was different. And you have large tan and cream check curtains- my fave type of fabric - large tan and cream check...

I'm in - though it will take me to June 1. Currently have 4 different shades of pink on the living room walls and still not sure! Need to get slipcovers done, trim painted and a major clean-up. Husband is leaving town on Thursday for 4 days and I plan on getting a lot accomplished - starting with wine and cheese with friends on Thursday night!!:D

Thats the way to start out a work frenzy :) Get the fun in at the beginning.
Don't worry it will take me till June 1 also- gotta paint that dang dining room..arrgh paint my bedroom and finish up the master bath..love pressure don't you?

For all of you that are fixing up your home before the virtual tour make sure you take before and after pictures!

You mean we have to take pics of the dirty rooms :) Sometimes cleaning constitutes fixing up in our house. Remember I have 4 kids and they are like a tornado at times.. so we do alot of "fixing up" around here :)

update - so many of us are very busy and with summer coming we'll probably get more projects done then. So, why not spend the summer playing and maybe doing a bit of work then we can post our virtual tours by Labor Day -

Aww sad... I think we should all do it. My house is far from finished, but it would be a great way to get us to take more pictures... I love having before and after pictures! :D
