Okay I have about 5 different paint squares all over the dining room. I am looking for a good khaki, tan, taupe whatever everyone calls it. I don't want one too green, too pink or too wierd.
Does anyone have what they call the "perfect" taupe or khaki?
I've decided to do the walls a neutral color as I like to decorate for all seasons so this way I have a neutral backdrop to change at will with accessories. But I can't find a good color.
Please help....

This may be too dark for you but I used Family Legacy by Glidden in most of my house.
I'll try to attach a picture of the swatch.

We really like 'cappucino' from Restoration Hardware...It is a nice neutral that doesn't have any green in it. Our house makes a lot of taupes look army green, but this one is great. I found out that you can have Benjamin Moore paint bases tinted with RH colors from myperfectcolor.com and they have free shipping. We are planning on doing that when we paint our LR b/c we want the Cappucino color in the Aura paint.

Does this help:

Kinda hard though without seeing actual paint chips...

Heather - that is a cool tool. Thanks I will look it over later when the princess of darkness (that is what we call my 4 year old daughter when she is having a hissy fit..) is asleep.
