Well my kindergarten son is home sick..ran a fever all night and still running one now. Lethargic and sleeping alot- not him at all.
It is sad to see him hurt. I hate it.
But, on the other side there are some ups to it.
It forces me to stay home and not go shopping. It forces me to look and do some of the things on the "to do" list.
I have the first coat of paint on the master bedroom walls.
I will be painting the iron hooks I found at Hobby Lobby yesterday a white so I can get them in the master bath.
I got all the laundry put away - a task unto itself.
And I just might get the second coat of paint on the master bedroom today because I hate looking at something not completely done.

I wish he was better but if he is sick at least it makes me do something.
How is your day going?

Think of it as making lemonade from lemons:D.

I'm stuck at work but I'd rather be home finishing up my DD's room.

Hope your adorable son feels better soon.

I associate the smell of spray starch and ironing to sick days when I was a kid. My mom would gather all of her ironing and spend the day keeping me company while she got to work.

My day was spent taking my daughter to the doctor ~ she hurt her ankle. Then I went grocery shopping, cleaned out the fridge, did some laundry, made arrangements for pet care for the upcoming long weekend, took care of some paper work and of course, got sucked into my computer!

And I am wondering what kind of store is 'Hobby Lobby' :)

I love, love, love Hobby Lobby! It's very similar to Michael's and A.C. Moore. It's less expensive than Michael's though.

Hope your son is feeling better today, YH!

Hobby Lobby is waaaaayyyy cooooooler than Ac moore or michaels. Just think of a craft store that has everything you could think of and more. Also, has home decor, fabric, baskets, garden stuff...it is amazing..
And the motto there is if it isn't on sale this week just wait a week. As they always put 1/2 the store on sale one week then the other half 1/2 off the next week. This is in addition to a 40% off coupon on one non-sale item each week.
I love this store..can you tell ?

Yes Zu,

funny how they always put 1/2 the store on sale every week. Hobby Lobby is described as being a cost effective version of Ballard Designs Catalog..
And I find some things exactly the same as Ballard Designs there at a fraction of the cost...
I do love the store...

The best thing about Hobby Lobby - they are CLOSED on Sundays so their employees can spend the day with their families!! Remember my rant awhile back about shops being closed on Sunday!?
