Does anyone know if steam will kill larvae for clothes moths? I have some wool things that were dry cleaned but not stored properly, and I was wondering if I could steam them in my LG steam washer to kill any larvae that might be there now? I really really don't want to have to dry clean stuff again!! Next year I'm going to be more diligent about switching out my closet seasonally...
Wish I had an answer- they best I can offer is looking into an Organic cleaners.... I've heard of them-but don't know where any are located.
Would putting them in a cedar chest help??? Cedar closet???? :o

Hello Everyone, :)
Cohen, like Gigi, I was thinking along the way of Cedar Chips, blocks, closet or chest as well. Maybe even ask the people where you get your dry cleaning done. They may be able to help you. I used cedar blocks with a hook on them. I purchased them at Wally World. They seemed to have gotten rid of those pesky little buggers.
Enjoy the day!
Hugs,
Linda :)

...has these great little moth catching things that really work. They go after the kind of moths that get in flour, petfood, etc. Sorry I don't have the link, but you could probably find them. I think they help with the other kind of moths too ... good luck.
Bye,
Jenny

Crabtree and Evelyn had a sachet that came with an oil that you apply to it and it would get rid of them. You might google that to see what you find.:)
