I registered back in March but never posted & never introduced myself. I'm newly retired & will soon be moving to a cottage or bungalow but I haven't found it yet but it will be in the South.

I hope you have room for one more.

Welcome, Flitter!

Yes, indeedy, there's always room for one more at this "home" of ours!

Congratulations on your retirement, and we'd love to hear what you're looking for, in your new home.

Hi Flitter!

So happy that you have joined in! :) I'm newly retired too - and up to my neck in projects to give my little house a cottage look.

Would love to hear more about the home you are looking for.

Hi Flitter~welcome!! The more in our little 'family', the merrier, we all think:). I'm looking forward to knowing more about you and the home that you are in search of. Do you already live in the south, or just moving to this wonderful part of the country?

Thank you for the nice welcome. I think I'll be moving to the Easley/Anderson area of S. Carolina. It seems to check most of the boxes in my list. I'll be having lots of questions & before pictures since this will be a budget decorating project. It's scary to start from scratch but that's what I'll be doing.

New beginnings can be scary...but they're lots of fun too! That's what keeps us young - new adventures. Be brave! ;)

Welcome to the forum, Flitter. What a wonderfully adventuresome prospect to move to a new state and start a new life in a new house. We'll be holding your virtual hand the whole way. I'm looking forward to seeing the before pics of what you select and the in-process pics as you make it your own!

Flitter....welcome to the neighborhood......literally!!! I'm an Andersonian born and raised! It is a great place to live. If I can be of any help, let me know. I will private message you with the particulars!

I am passionate about decorating. Can't seem to get enough! Hubs said he is going to block HGTV and Fine Living Network from our cable:eek:

Hello Ladies, :)

Vintage Girl, your hubby is a cruel...cruel man. :D If he does that, let me know. You can come over to my house and watch them here with me. I lock the door so my hubby can`t take away the remote. :D

Enjoy the day.

Hugs,
Linda :)
