I guess since nothing else is going on, I can show off our new baby. We found her two weeks ago, at the intersection of a busy highway. It was early in the morning and I don't think she'd been out there long~but it was already HOT out there. Her name is Gerogia~but we call her George.

Wow, Rosemary, do you think she'll ever be able to learn to relax, LOL? She's adorable. I love cats. I think there are blessings associated with taking in strays (though I've tried it with men and never got very good results). :) The cat I got as a stray is more loving and affectionate (and better behaved) than any of my other cats have been. I'm sure George will be a special little bright spot in your life.

She's lucky she found you. What a sweetie. If we ever get another cat (I'm so annoyed with my female lately that I could stay a dog person the rest of my life!) I would love to get sweet kittie. Tubby is a good boy, very mello and plays with the dogs but that mother of his........ Do you want a calico female Rosemary. :D

Geroge really is a little sweetie. We're very glad we found her!
Thanks, Chyna, but no thanks~I've got 6 cats now:eek:. One is really my parent's, but since they live next door, he considers this his home, too. All of mine are outdoor or outdoor/indoor, except one. He is inside full time.
George will be an outdoor/indoor, eventually. Right now~she's pretty much in charge inside:p.

did I tell you all about my daughter's new kitten? her husband travels every day for work and came home a couple of weeks ago after driving over 200 miles - thought he heard a cat in the garage but didn't see one. got up the next morning, went to the gym, came home and heard the cat again.
turns out the kitten had been up in the wheel well the WHOLE time. they literally had to pull parts of the car off to get to the kitten. Initially they named her "Lucky" but has been changed to "Sassy".
My daughter did not want another cat (afraid she'll be a grandmother before the cat dies!!) but she was outvoted by the rest of the family!!:p

Aww, CD~she really is a lucky kitty:)!
They get to you pretty fast~when we found her, our initial plan was to find a home for her. That was day one. By day two, that plan was out:D.

Bless you, RoseMary for finding and adopting George! I know, firsthand, what joy these little "found bundles" bring. And George seems to have an adorable and a playful (upside down "I give up" look) side.
May you all have many happy, healthy years together! :)
P.S. - We've also been down that "going to find the kitty a home" road...it's a short road, at that!

Rosemary, that picture of George upside down reaching out is just too adorable:). Congrat's on the new family addition!
Right now my furbaby is giving me her rendition of "you left me for 5 days get off the computer now, this mouse is mine" routine.
Guess I'll check back with you guys tomorrow:rolleyes:.
