Hello everyone,

School started here about three weeks ago - - YES, that seems like the middle of the summer. So, I am up to my eyeballs grading papers and attending high school football games. I hope to do something to my house soon. I needed to post to everyone that I managed to both sweep and polish my hardwood floors yesterday. As this hasn't happened in awhile, it was DISGUSTING. I am posting as a confession in hopes of staying motivated to keep things clean.

In all seriousness, I miss everyone and I hope all is well.

Glad you could pop by. I imagine that the beginning of the school year is the busiest. Been wondering how your summer gardening went.

How has the ivy pulling gone? I think of you everytime I see in a magazine the suggestions of planting an ivy on a wall or something. Betting you'd have a few choice words for them on that subject! :p

I'm here and will be seeing Memmey on Friday!!! She called me last night - not sure who is more excited! By best pal, Linda and I will be heading to Mem's Friday afternoon, spend the night and go junking with her on Saturday.

I have been beyond busy between work and home - kitchen is moving along, finally! It seems like we get a bunch of stuff done then it comes to a halt for a couple of weeks - depending on contractors. We got a working sink a little over a week ago - yipee!

I will post photos as we get a little further along - currently cutting beadboard for any wall space that isn't covered by a cabinet.

I'll harp at Mem when I see her.
