It seems so quiet on here lately! What about all those things we were going to do in the fall, ladies? The house tour pics, our "things to do lists" updates, and are we going to think about a fall swap?

For me, it's an incredibly busy time of year. I'm like a squirrel running around trying to get everything done before the snow flies. In a few weeks there will be more time to visit... perhaps this is true for quite a few people? :confused:

Yes, we can't get ahead of all the fruit in the backyard that has to get canned - never mind the end-of-summer cleaning and putting away before winter!

I'm still in the midst of moving! Painted several rooms in the "new to me" house, but then I ran out of time for that and it was moving time! After 31 years here, need I tell you about my "stuff"? Egads...
We have to be out on the 30th. :eek:

I do pop in and read some of your posts, now and again, and am missing talking to you all. After the dust settles...literally, I look forward to telling you what I'm up to. I'm nowhere near ready for pics yet! My best to all of you...

We got a lot done on our list in August but September has been slow b/c of travel for work and the holiday weekend. Hopefully we will catch up at the beginning of October and be ready for our house tour.

This weekend, I would like to clean the whole house, purge/reorganize closets, and take stuff to the Habitat ReStore. Nothing fun, but it will be nice to be clean and organized. I can only take so much mess and dog hair!:D
