I can't believe that next Thursday morning I am flying to Florida to meet the family that Ashley will be staying with in Germany. I am SOOOOO excited. I haven't flown in over 25 years. I can't wait to get my toes in the sand and hear the sound of the Gulf, and just bask in the sunshine for a few days.

The family consist of a mom, dad, and an almost 2 yr old boy. I bought the little boy a really cute Easter book at Barnes and Noble, and I would like to buy them something to give them as a small gift, but I have no idea what it would be. It would have to be small enough to fit in their luggage and not take up much room.
I thought about an American cookbook from Barnes and Noble, but honestly, I have no idea what to get them as a small token. Any suggestions for me?

He is American, she is German. They live in a suburb of Hamburg. Thanks for the help.

A nice cookbook sounds like a great gift. I am so excited for you and your daughter. You will love being in the nice warm weather, and having a mini vacation. And your daughter is going to love her time in Germany. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of your visit in Florida:)

Thanks Beverly, The family has arrived in Tampa this evening. They had given us their flights and we were able to track their flights in air. It is really neat to do that. They are on the ground safe. :)
