Officially DONE!

I'm done painting the house and garage! Enthusiasm died down in August sometime and it didn't look like the garage was going to get done but it BUGGED me that it didn't match the house. So now it's all done as of today (happy dance, happy dance) and wouldn't you know it the clouds rolled in and it's raining!

Hey thanks for all the kind words, gals!

You noticed my little brick collection, Lisa! They were all over the yard when we moved in - all different types, not sure how old they are either. I made some little pathways out of them in my herb garden and this one (in the picture) by my back steps because in the rain the grass would turn into a slippery mud pile.

ps - I took this pic today and it's MISERABLE out so it CAN look better than in this picture... you know!

I have a collection of bricks too. Some are from our chimney demolishion and some I've collected from the neighbors. Maybe next summer I'll build a patio.
