Hello and Happy New Year to everyone!
Thanks to a nice invitation from Memmey, I've found you all, here at Cottages and Bungalows.

It's a pity, what's happening to so many magazines...Mary Engelbreit is still looking for a publisher for her amazing "Home Companion" (there's no other magazine like that, in my opinion), and "Country Home" is gone too. All the more reason we need to stay connected, I guess.

Well, I hope to catch up on reading some of the messages here - things are pretty hectic now so I probably won't be writing all that much for a while, but I'll try!

It honestly made me happy just to see all of your names...

Since last I wrote, I finally had my house painted (in the Fall)...from barn red/white trim to Java brown/sand dune (beige) trim.

I know I always had trouble posting photos on the other forums (photos were too big, I was told), but one o' these days, I'll give it a try here. Hopefully, I'll soon read your posts so I can catch up with what you've all been doing!
