On the road again

I am leaving my cozy lake cottage on Tuesday to drive 6 1/2 hours to San Antonio (my hometown). I've decided since I will be driving alone to take the back roads and stop when I see something interesting. We usually drive the interstate because it is faster, but I want to go through the small towns and maybe do a little shopping. I don't have any time constraints, so I can take my time.

I will be coming home on Sunday and will probably take the interstate. I know I will be ready to get back to our quiet way of life and out of the traffic and hustle bustle of big cities.
