Longest Garage Sale...St Rt 127

Last night I had to go to Van Wert, OH, and saw many of the garage sales set up along St Rt 127, that are part of the Longest Garage Sales......I oh so wanted to stop at some, but I didn't have time or the money.....they actually start today I think. I went thru 3 small towns and I can only imagine how busy they will be today.....we went to a few last year, but this year I won't make it to any.

We're having a community garage sale in our little condo community this weekend, too. We don't have anything as cool as the route 27 one, though. That would be fun.

I love garage sales. I have always wished I lived out that way so I could go to that. Maybe someday:D

Wouldn't it be so much fun if some of us could meet at one of those "longest" garage sales sometime? None of my local friends are interested in anything to do with flea markets, garage sales, or the kind of cottagey stuff I like. :o

A guy I work with goes picking at garage sales every weekend, comes up with some real steals!

It is kind of amazing the stuff you can find at a good garage sale. I get some great things for the classroom sometimes. But I sure don't have the energy to go out every weekend. That takes some dedication!

Hubs and I go out at least 3 weekends a month. We hit the garage sales, thrift stores and believe it or not - Lowes. Our lowes here has unbelievable deals. Bargains can be found anywhere, just have to keep your eyes open, and look everywhere, even retail stores:)
