I am NOT a football fan at all but I live in Wisconsin and work in Minnesota.
The office was very quiet today cause of the Vikings loss. Lots of crabby, tired and bummed people working around. I could care less, and get a kick out of how people can be so depressed over a GAME.

Hello Memmey, As I am from Tennessee, I tend to be for The Colts this time around ... with that said, I think this is incredibly cool for New Orleans. This should be a fun SuperBowl. Woo-hoo for both teams. (Better to be excited about both than only have the advertisements to look forward to ... :D)

It's so funny, but I didn't "get" the part about Memmey saying "Who dat?", in the beginning of the post. Didn't know it was the chant of the Saints fans, until I heard about it on TV. What can I say?...I'm a Northerner who's not a football fan...:o

If you could only see the excitment here. It is CRAZY!!!! Madi Gras is going on and the TV is constantly showing people in all configurations of excitment...LOL
The parades are rolling and some of the beads they throw are black and gold for the Saints. EVERYONE has a Saints shirt on. The newscasters are all dressed in Saints garb. The weather boards have spinning fleur de lis and flashing black and gold during the weather segments. Ka-razy:eek:
Today is Saturday and the food is being bought and the menu's planned. Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee, Bar B Cue you name it and it will be eaten. The best of all the King Cake.
Oh please let them win!!!It would be the grandest thing for the city of New Orleans. If you saw photos of the damage from the hurricane I promise they did not capture the real horror of it. New Orleans could use the spirit the win would bestow...
Hey.... let the best team win but I have always loved an under-dog and believe me.....The Saints are the REAL deal as an under-dog.

I have always wanted to visit New Orleans..and even more so after what the area has gone through...I admire the people and their spirit, and am just so sorry for everything that's happened.

I can't say how much I just adore Mike Holmes (Holmes on Homes). Yesterday I caught a show where he is in the 9th Ward building a home, not sure if there will be more but he has done at least one. He is working with Brad Pitt to bring these people back. Blows my mind a Canadian company has to come down South to build a home....:(

I forget what college it was (around Washington, D.C.) but my cousin's daughter played on a team there...she's a little bit of a thing so her grandmother was always worrying about her I say this so that you know some people DO play and enjoy rugby here! :o
