The forum administrators really need to consider that new members must be ok'd to post their first post. This morning there were 29 spam messages that I deleted and banned the user. That is crazy. This is such a nice forum, but is frustrating that the spam continues to overtake it. Many other forums moderate first post of members, it is not hard to do.

I wholeheartedly agree, Marie. I'm usually on very early in the morning and I hate being faced with a bunch of gibberish, first thing in the a.m. :( If there's a way to try to prevent it, I agree it would be a good idea to use it. Maybe it's a bit of trouble to establish, but I think the members will all be a whole lot happier. :o

And thanks again to you and Shabby for being our SpamFighters!

Yes I see that. Will get to it soon. I honestly don't think administration comes here much. I am on other forums and they don't have this problem. Very frustrating.

I can't delete spam this morning...won't accept my password. Sorry. There is at least 10 more on here since last night.

Thanks Shabby, came back at 12:30 and full again of spam....accepted my password this time.

My guess, over 60 posts from yesterday and noon today. ugg. Busy beavers, wonder if because the holidays are coming up.
