Has anyone gotten the chance to try Carrie's ( Under the Willow) homemade laundry soap? I read about it on her blog. Homemade laundry soap sounded intriguing, but the name of the scents are what sold me. I ordered the soap just a few days ago and it's already here! Wow. The package smells so good. I ordered Cambridge Rum, but she also sent me Twilight Sky laundry soap too. I can't decide which one I like better. I haven't even washed laundry and I can smell the soap all over the house. That's not a bad thing. People pay lots for airfreshener. I really want to do laundry right now, and I don't need to, lol.
Thank you Carrie, from the other Carrie.
Omgoodness ~ What a surprise when I saw this. You are so sweet to mention the laundry soap and thank you for trying it too!
So many people have mentioned I need to make sachet bags---for the scents I use... it could be in the future.
Again many thanks ~ I'm blushing, you've made my night. :)
Hugs from the (me) the other Carrie ~ Gigi (grandgirlies call me this)

Your welcome. Giving credit where credit is due. :) I think it would be wonderful to put a sachet in the laundry cabinet or dresser drawers. I can imagine the dressers are going to smell really good anyway.
I will definately shop again. Thank you!

Yes you do need to make sachet bags..that bar of soap you sent in my swap was in the kids bathroom as the daughter stole it as hers. It made that room smell so good all the time. It is all used up now..hmm I need to go order some more.
Question on the laundry soap..I am usually allergic to dyes and perfumes..can't even use tide..
So has this ever bothered anyone with sensitive skin?
Another question- I have a front load washer that takes that HE detergent..does this work in those machines- it takes liquid..how would this work?
Hi Tammy ~ "Knock on wood" that I haven't heard people with sensitive skin have a problem with our natural laundry soap...
Here's what one customer said, "My clothes feel soo clean and my allergies have been better."
Tide is a "detergent" while our natural laundry soap is just that "a natural soap" the recipe is made with natural minerals and skin safe essential oils or fragrance oils...
HE washing machines: You would add the laundry soap right on top of the clothing- works great. Before we moved I had a HE machine and I didn't have a problem.
PM me your address- and I'll send you some samples-

I just ordered the Lavender. We have been thinking of going to a natural laundry soap for a while. Hubs does the laundry, and we are just about out of soap, so now was a good time to make the switch. I love Lavender. It is my favorite scent. Reminds me of when I lived in England:)
I received your order! You'll receive a tracking number today.... You are too sweet- thank you!

Just got the laundry soap last night, along with some samples. Love, love, love the soap. Already used it last night and it is fantastic! My daughter grabbed the bag and she is keeping it in her room, because it smells so good. You really need to make some sachet bags. I would buy them by the dozen. The aroma is unbelievable. Thanks so so much:)
Thank you VG for letting me know it arrived ~ so glad you like it!
Sachets ~ I've heard that from a lot of people, so we will be launching them soon... I'm excited about that.
P.S. I've got to look through my dogs pictures and change my profile pic--- I see Carrie has a new one- cute!

Do you make your soap, yourself, Gigi?
ChapterTwo- Yes, all my soap is handmade/created. I've actually been soap making for over twenty years ;)... definitely a passion of mine.

Gigi - I remember having a magazine, many years ago, all about making soap and hand creams...it was all very intriguing...your house must have the most gorgeous scents wafting through it! ;)
ChapterTwo~ That certainly is the "up" side of the soap business.

Gigi,
I just noticed you have a new scent "Whispering Rose". That will be my next order when I get low on the Lavender. I love the scent of roses. Also, please let me know when you get your sachet's up and running. I cannot say enough about your products and the exquisite scents. My whole house smells amazing. Very relaxing. I also used the dog soap sample you sent me. The dogs bedding smells devine. They love it:D
Vintage Girl ~ Awww... thank you for your sweet words.
I should be ready to post by the end of the week- re: sachets. I'll certainly let you know.

Yep I want some of that action too. I especially want a couple to send to college with the stinky son so his room smells better. I wonder can you put them in shoes to help that man smell too?
These sachets can easily be tucked inside some stinky shoes :D
Because you asked/inquired ~ SACHETS are now up & ready...AND at 50 percent off until March 17th...1371

Got my shipment yesterday and wow- does it smell good. I have them sitting in the dining room and when you enter it is amazing.
Okay it is sick I know but I am actually looking at the clothes hamper waiting for it to be a loads worth so I can use the soap. Is that bizarre or what?
Thanks Carrie- I love it and I am sure the kids at my sons dorm will love you when they don't smell josh's smelly boots.
And tonight when I put new sheets on the bed I am going to spray the pillowcases with a bit of the lavender spray - it is said to help you sleep better. We shall see- if not it will at least smell wonderfu.

Thanks Tammy for letting me know your shipment arrived ~ I appreciate it :)
I've heard many people say--"Laundry is fun again" ~ I'm happy about that.
Yes! Use the linen spray before you go to bed ~ I like to keep linen spray next to a table for guests for "sweet dreams"....
Thank you for your kind words ~ enjoy!
And...
Happy Birthday Tammy!

Happy Birthday Tammy:D Don't drink too much green beer:p
I also got my sachet's and OMG they smell so so good. Tammy, my daughter and I both looked at each other last night and said "don't we have some laundry to do?";) I am in heaven. And the clothes smell wonderful after they are laundered also. I put the sachet's in each bedroom and the bathroom. Our house smells fantastic. Love the bar soap you sent also. Thanks so much. Next month I am going to order the linen sprays:)
Aww... thank you Ms. Vintage Girl :)
Hi Chapter Two- Yes- I've actually been making homemade natural soap for over twenty years.
It's funny went through college- got my degree- and gave up a great job to just do the biz- BUT I'm sooo much happier because there's not a day that goes by I think I'm working at all- when I make the soaps, etc...
Vintage Girl- I'm going to put the linen spray on a good sale next... ;)
