If you're only concerned with making your home look pretty--and many people are--then that's great. Enjoy.

HOWEVER, if you care at all about your home value, then it's critical that buyers driving down your street decide that you live in a "GOOD NEIGHBORHOOD". For this reason, it is important that your surrounding neighbors also pay close attention to their curb appeal.

Yeah one of our neighbors has a "flower" garden in their front yard, but it's always full of weeds, and they have peeling paint too. Another neighbor has been trying to sell and the nearby mess can't be helping. We'll check out BlockBoost

We ended up trying a different tactic. We got the neighbors excited about doing a joint landscape redesign. There's a service out there called YardUp that does redesigns for free. They actually look related... www.yardup.com (http://www.yardup.com)
