I found the copy of this new magazine at my local Fred Meyer store and spent a happy afternoon going through it. It reminded me a lot of Country Home. There was a lovely article about a playhouse decked out for a little girl and a garden shed redecorated as a spare room in warm weather. If you like 50's style, there was an article about a woman who decorates all in 50's retro things. They had some how-to articles, too, for reusing the kinds of junk Ki Nassauer uses (like funnels). It was a little of this and a little of that. I enjoyed it. I hope they'll be doing more issues, though according to their blog, that's not a sure thing yet. I saw an idea or two I might use one day. It was a bit pricey at $9.95, but it was 147 pages long, so I thought it was worth it.

Shabbychic - I found Flea Market Style yesterday at WalMart. I am in total agreement with everything you said; it's really a fun and inspiring issue...and so pretty to look at! The price is high, as you said, but there are tons of quality photos and ideas and it hardly has any advertising. So it's like getting the content of two issues.

I sure do hope there will be more forthcoming! :)
