My mom's stepdaughter passed away on Thursday night from cancer. She just turned 50 last weekend. In July she got very sick with terrible migranes, and after a few weeks, it was determined that she had lung cancer, which had spread to her brain, lymph nodes, and liver. She did radiation treatments for a couple weeks to ease the migranes, but there was no hope. The cancer was everywhere. She went from working in July to being in the cancer center, and downhill from there. She claims she had no symptons until the migranes in July started. No symptoms except weight loss.

She left behind a son who is a senior this year and a husband.

Thank you everyone. She is in a much better place right now, as she was in a lot of pain the last few weeks.

So sorry to hear about her, Marie. I'll keep her son and husband in my prayers. I know this is especially sad for them.

I'm sure that whatever you did re the flowers worked out fine, Marie; it truly is/was the thought that counts. Her passing is especially hard so close to the holiday.

We were worried she wouldn't have much in flowers since the service was at the church and the funeral home wasn't involved with the service. Everything worked out.

Things often have a way of working out. I'm glad...
