I don't think I've mentioned this but for Christmas and for my daughter's birthday in March we are going to Disneyland for 4 nights. Then we are renting a car and driving up to Concord for a couple days to visit with my dh's great-uncle and cousins.

Does anyone know of a fabulous flea market at either location? Or a really great antique store, architectural rehab type of place? I looked it up online and there is a flea market about 1/2hr from Disney but wondering if it is even worth the walk. We went to one in Phoenix a few years ago and were really disappointed. I was looking for antique type of stuff not tourist tees. :mad:

Ideas?

Oh, Chyna, I am so happy for you - You are one lucky gal! :D
I don't know, offhand, but I'll be talking to my friend in FL (Vero Beach) in a few days, and I'll ask her if she knows of any good quality flea markets in that area, or if she can ask around. I think she's about an hr. away from Orlando.

I know I've heard great things about the Long Beach Flea market and the one held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, I've never been. I'm not sure if they are held weekly or monthly tho. And believe me when they say a half hour away; bank on it taking longer-- the traffic in LA is horrendous!

Wrong coast. :p I think it is Disney World in FL and Disneyland in CA, I get them confused all the time but happen to remember this time just because we're going there. :D Ask me in a couple months and I'll probably be getting them confused again. :o

Not such a difference in Southern California! ;)

If you get the chance, check out San Clemente. It's south of Disney Land by about an hour. It's a beautiful little town right on the coast. I lived there when I was in high school and middle school.

Sorry, Chyna...I got so excited when I read "Disney" that I just ran with the thought that it was Disney World. :o Since we're on the East, I'm forever hearing people going there so I guess I was on automatic pilot.
I know nothing about what happens in CA. The last time I was there was 1983! :eek:

Anyway...I'm still REALLY excited for you!
