So glad it is Friday. I love Fridays, end of a busy workweek of daycare kiddos. Going to Ft Wayne tonight to spend my $20 gift card to Vera Bradley I got for my birthday. Not sure what I can buy for that, but will see. Tomorrow I am going to my sisters in Indiana at the lake and we are painting her lake cottage. They had renters in there and they trashed it and left, so they are going to try to rent it out by the week instead. I told my sister to have the paint, roller, brush and a chair ready for me and I would have a room done in 4 hours....the rooms are smaller bedrooms. So we are having a painting party tomorrow, along with a birthday party for us 3 sisters who have March birthdays. So everyone have a good weekend.....I will, I won't be home. ;)

That sounds like a fun weekend! I'm glad this week is over too. It's been a busy one. Last night was the first night I got home before 930. Hope you have fun with your sisters. We are heading to the beach tomorrow. G

This weekend is the first flea market at our local animal shelter ( Appropriate, huh? Flea/Animal Shelter!) :o They're always amazing but the first one is always best because everyone's been saving up stuff to donate all winter.

And the terrific part is that the proceeds go to help the animals at the shelter. Win/Win! I'll let you know what treasures I find...;)

Your plans sound fun, Marie and CC. And whatever you do, RoseMary, I hope it's fun AND relaxing!

Marie- Great weekend ahead for you I see! Enjoy!

ChapterTwo- Wonderful wonderful fun! You're right I bet there are lots of goodies to buy that people have been saving up all year.

I have three rescues- and I can't resist resist stuffed animals for them. I usually can get them for 25 cents each! Yeah!

Ahh the beach sounds good. Marie you can move to my town and we are only 2 hours to the beach..NC. haha

We have soccer early, then the post office to mail Chapter Two's swap..then back home to weed in the garden. I love that as it is soothing and fun.

Then gotta clean the house a bit before mom comes to watch the kids on Monday- can't be embarrassed.

It will be such a nice weekend weatherwise that it can't be a bad one no matter what we do.

We're expecting nice weather in the northwest this weekend, too, at least for tomorrow. I've got some work to do for school and for another group I do some work for, but it'll be nice enough that I'll be able to sit outside to do it. Now I just have to find a way to shade the computer screen so I can see it when I'm working outside. That's a problem I don't know if I'll ever solve. You would think there'd be something you could buy tht would address that problem, wouldn't you? Either way, I expect to sit outside near my flowers with a glass of wine and enjoy even the work.

We hopped on the ferry and went to Vancouver to go to Ikea (of course) and to take Junior to the aquarium! We're all pooped, happy, and broke now!

shabbychick - I found two solutions to your sunny laptop problem. One is a cheapy homemade version you can have right now...
http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2006/05/simple_laptop_sunshade.html

and here's one to buy. Click here: http://www.amazon.com/Compushade-Laptop-Notebook-Screen-Shade/dp/B000FX4Z44
Actually, there seem to be even more options available. If these don't suit, just Google "laptop shade".

Hope this helps! :)
