View Full Version : My son's bungalow...
About two years ago my oldest son & daughter in-law purchased a charming, but "in need" of work bungalow/cottage on the Eastern Shore in Cambridge, Maryland.
AND since they have now just listed it for sale- I wanted to share their restoration work before it is sold....

Awwwh the newlywed house. It turned out so cute. I remember the torn out walls etc.
Gigi where are they moving?
I would love to live in that house. I would love to live in Maryland.:)
Aww...thanks Memmey ~ they really have restored the place nicely.
They are moving in the area- bit more land (6.5 acres) for their doggies- all three of them.
I've been thinking about you ~ hugs.

The house looks lovely, Gigi! Had they bought it with the intention of restoring and selling, or did they realize they wanted more land as time went by (and perhaps, more doggies arrived)?
It's amazing what a difference "location, location, location" makes. That house would probably sell in the high $300s or low $400s around here.
I wish them the best of luck for a quick sale, as well as in their next home! :)

Oh thanks for sharing, Gigi! I always think it's interesting seeing inside other peoples homes. They did a good job - it looks like it was taken care of. They also did the same Ikea kitchen as I did: the cupboards, counter, and sink!

Looks great Carrie. I think they did a great job. I can only imagine living at the Eastern Shore - love that area.
So, what is the new house like? Does it need lots of work too?

What a great cottage. They did a fantastic job. Hubs and I would like to have that much acreage when we retire and sell our house someday. But he is afraid that I will just add more dogs to the pack. He says 6 is enough:D

Carrie, I LOVE everything about that house.
It is so charming. I'd take it but kinda would be
a long commute to work (to the State of Wisconsin).
Love it !!
