It went good. He goes tomorrow for a second interview and to meet the 2nd shift supervisor. The pay is descent, starts around $13 on 2nd shift. It is for the exact type of job he lost, running a stock picker, scanner, parts retrieval. I am so hoping he gets it. He said it was the best interview he has had so far.

Thanks so much for the kind thoughts and prayers. It is 2:00 and he has left for the interview. I am a nervous wreck. I am so praying he gets it. It is what he did before and the pay is good to start.

While we don't know 100% that he got the job, I think he did. He came home with a drug screen paper and they are going to call to tell him when to go get it done, and he signed background check papers giving permission to do a background check. The supervisor said he would talk with the HR girl and if it was fine with her he was in. Now the waiting. It sounds very promising.

Thanks for letting us know, Marie - I kept checking back here to hear the news. It all DOES sound very promising! It probably hinges on the drug test papers and background check, which will turn out just fine. I'm very hopeful, too...on your behalf! I'll keep everything crossed just a little while longer. ;)

So they called this morning. He goes for the drug test, and said they are waiting for the background check to come back which takes a week or so, and will start in 1 to 2 weeks. Will have to go to orientation too.
