I have been looking for a comforter set that is affordable...ie cheap. I want to go coastal/cottage theme. I found this, and think it is very sweet. But, what color would you paint the walls? I origianlly was going to go with a very soft yellow, then thought about blue, then saw this and have no clue what color I would paint the walls. I kind of don't care for white/creams, but don't want a deep color either, need something bright and airy.
Thanks, I know you all will have some great suggestions.

I think a pale yellow would be fabulous! I LOVE this bedding set---- :)

I agree with Gigi~I love red and yellow together! If you decide that yellow walls would be 'too much', you might try a soft ivory color.

I think a light tan or beige might be nice.

If it was my own room, I'd make the walls white, and bring in another color in accessories. But I know you don't want white, so I agree with yellow, but a very soft, buttery shade.

I like yellow, too, but I love yellow anywhere. However, there are really lots of colors you could use. I think a soft greenish-blue or a soft sagey green would also be nice. If you're going with that coastal theme, any color that evokes the sea would work, from sand to sun to water. I'd say go with whatever speaks to you and makes you happy.

I think either a very soft creamy yellow, or even a very light blue would be nice. White beadboard would look fantastic also, and definately would be coastal.:)
I always say, "When in doubt- white it out"---BUT darn a pale yellow would look so coastal :D--- with the suggested white headboard.

I like the duvet too! I would do a white room with lot's of dark wood brown antique furniture and bits of red here and there. Yellow works too....

:( So, I guess I don't have to worry about getting the startfish comforter. I went back to the site, and it is sold out.

Marie,
Here is one from Walmart that is coastal and the price is amazing. It is a bed in a bag, so it comes with everything. Might be worth looking into.

The striped sheets and pillow cases really make the Wal-mart comforter look calm and serene.

I am the absolute worst person to make a decision with anything. I found this, and it has all the colors I like, has that coastal feel, and I could go with a choice of paint colors. Plus, Walmart has tons of household storage items, pillows, and such in their store right now to match, and it is very affordable.

That one is really really pretty. It is also more versatile, as you are not tied to a beach theme. Really pretty colors and would brighten up your room:)

I like the look of it. The stripes are quite pretty. You might take a look at K-Mart, too, if there is one in your area. They carry some nice bedding.
