While the air is cool and the sun is out, sit back and enjoy spring. Here are a few ideas to help you unwind.
Sip on some tea. Start your morning slow by brewing up a piping cup of tea. Keep your tea simple or make it an ode to spring and nature by sweetening with honey or agave and ditching cow’s milk for almond milk. Serve in your favorite mug. Once your drink is ready, lounge outside and appreciate the season–the slower the intake, the sweeter the sip.
Go analog. It’s difficult to not get swept up with technology during the digital age, so try detoxing for a day. Spring only comes once a year, so don’t miss it. Leave your cellphone, laptop, tablet, television and all other gadgets forgotten at home while you spend the day reveling in the local flora and fauna. Take it a step further and get others involved by writing a few letters to loved ones detailing your feelings that day.
Plant a garden. Why not celebrate spring, the season of growth, with new life? Fetch your gardening shears and gloves and get your hands dirty. Be efficient and plant vegetables and herbs that you can later enjoy fresh in delicious recipes.
