This is our 1910 cottage in Old Towne Orange, California that we recently restored. It won the Old Towne Preservation Association's top award for preservation excellence and is a joy to live in. The porch is one of our favorite features of the house as we love to sit and enjoy the wonderful California sunsets.Prior to our restoration the home was quite rough and cited for numerous building code violations. But we have restored this 115 year old beauty and she's ready for the next 100 years.

Welcome to our little cozy cottage. While building a cottage my main focus was to create a cozy welcoming space.

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of living in an ivy-covered cottage—something out of a storybook, where every leaf and vine whispered a little magic. Today, I’m lucky enough to call that dream my home. Nestled in our quiet neighborhood, my house has become a bit of a local landmark. Children call it “the princess house,” and one little girl once tugged her mother’s hand just to get a closer look at “the house covered in leaves.” Cars slow down as they pass, and I’ve even heard someone ask, “Who lives there—Snow White?” The ivy climbs gracefully across the front, changing with the seasons and giving the house a timeless, enchanted feel. It’s not just a home—it’s a dream realized, and a little spark of joy for everyone who walks or drives by. I hope my home continues to bring smiles and a sense of wonder to others, just as it has brought me happiness every single day.

My home represents a layed back cottage style home! The outside of my home, reflects the inside of my home! Our Grandkids helped us haul all the rocks for our home & gardens in a wagon! Our home is a cozy cottage where everyone feels welcomed!

We love our 1960s colonial on our tree lined street in Bethlehem, PA. We have lived here for about 12 years. Over the years weve added and subtracted to not only make out house home but to make it one you feel instantly welcome as soon as you pull up.

Happy 100th Birthday! Built in 1925 and lovingly lived in ever since, our ivy-draped Texas Cape Cod has officially reached the century mark. For forty-four of those years, we’ve had the joy of raising our family within these storybook walls. We fell head over heels for this cozy cottage the moment we saw its Dutch door, sparkling windows, and vine-kissed façade—and snapped up this “fixer-upper” before fixer-upper was a buzzword. From creaky floors to lovingly restored trim, every inch of this home tells a story. It’s been a labor of love, a constant work in progress, and above all, a welcoming haven for friends and family where a cool glass of sweet iced tea is waiting. Here’s to 100 years of heart—and many more memories to come.

Bringing a touch of Nantucket to Kentucky -our coastal craftsman feels right at home with red, white and blue. Flags flying, florals lining the walk, and the porch is made for lemonade, conversation & watching beautiful sunsets.
