Give the hardest-working space in your home a big serving of holiday cheer. 

Looking for holiday kitchen inspiration? The holidays often find us spending more time than usual in our kitchens. Baking, cooking and sharing tasks as we gather with friends and family—and, of course, the cleaning up—all seem to be on “high burner.”

Why not make it as enjoyable as possible by sprinkling a bit of festive décor in your space? We’ve scooped up a few of our favorite decked-out kitchens and hope you’re inspired to make your own perfect coziness “recipe.” 

Sleighing It. Courtney Affrunti (@goldenboysandme) utilizes her existing pot rack holder to display a vintage wooden sleigh with a cheery crate, a colorful plaid thermos and wrapped boxes at the top. Very Vintage. Jeanette Marie (@lifehasrepurpose) is an avid vintage seller, junker and collector. Her home exudes simplicity, nostalgia and fun. For the holidays, she simply adds whimsical polka dot ribbon to the light fixtures above the sink, fresh greens here and there, and displays sweet treats in interestingly shaped glass containers.

Sweet Inspiration. Susan Handler (@sawnailandpaint) displays red ilex berries, fresh greens, a container of white irises and vivid, red accents to create an oh-so-inviting space. Who wouldn’t want to linger in her kitchen … not just at holiday time, but all year-round?

Au Naturel. Nicol Naranjo (@nicholnaranjo) goes mostly “au naturel” in her kitchen, with a simple wreath in the window and open shelving lined with twinkly magnolia leaves. She piles aromatic oranges with cloves in a vintage bowl and calls it “done.” It’s such a lovely statement, and without all the fuss!

Castles and Cranberries. Donna Tronolone (@haverstrawhill) adorns her kitchen island with candles, cranberries and a magical, lighted castle. She adds festive artwork and mini wreaths to the cupboards to complete the look.

Holiday Blues. Hayley Little (@mumlittleloves) adores using clean, crisp blues in her home—and that includes at Christmastime. She simply adds red bows with mistletoe sprigs to her kitchen chairs, a jolly Santa, friendly reindeer and a few small trees. And notice the nutcracker on the range hood. Everything is easy to set up and take down once the holidays are over.
