Learn from Brand Ambassador Krystal how to add heartfelt touches to create a spring tablescape that’s fresh, inviting and full of charm.
Spring is such a magical time of year, isn’t it? After the chill of winter, there’s nothing like seeing the first flowers bloom and feeling the warm sunshine again. Spring always takes me back to childhood memories of my mom planting her vegetable garden and watching her flowers pop up all over the yard. There’s something so special about celebrating this season of renewal and one of my favorite ways to do that is by creating a spring tablescape for Easter.

When it comes to styling a spring table, I always look for ways to bring the outdoors in. Whether you’re hosting an Easter brunch or simply want to add a little cheer to your dining space, the goal is to make it feel fresh, inviting and personal.
Start with a Soft, Natural Foundation
I love to layer a soft tablecloth or runner as the base of my spring tablescape. Think creamy whites, muted pastels or even—my favorite—a vintage floral print. Then I like to add texture with pieces like placemats, chargers and flatware. They remind me of the earthy tones of a spring garden.
Adding flowers is a must for me. My Oma and grandma had the most beautiful yards filled with geraniums, daisies and roses, so I like to honor their memory by incorporating those flowers into my décor when I can. A simple bouquet of daisies or a mix of fresh blooms in shades of pink, green and white create the perfect cottage-inspired centerpiece. These colors are my favorite to work with in the spring because they feel so light, fresh and full of life, like stepping into a blooming garden.

Add Layers and Cottage Charm
When setting the table, I like to stack dishes in soft colors that feel timeless and cozy. White or pastel plates layered with floral salad plates create a cottage vibe that’s simply perfect for spring. For an Easter twist, you can add plates with bunny designs or even tuck a sweet linen napkin into each place setting and tie it with twine, adding a spring of fresh greenery or a tiny faux egg for that spring touch.
I also love to scatter small details like moss bunnies, painted eggs or tiny nests along the table for a whimsical feel. Candlelight is always a win in my book: Place a few votives or taper candles in vintage brass holders to create that warm, cozy glow we all adore.

Bring the Season to Life
Spring is all about celebrating new beginnings, and I think that’s why I love it so much. It’s a time to gather, reflect and embrace the beauty of nature. When I decorate for Easter, I’m reminded of the joy my Oma and grandma found in their gardens and the love they poured into their homes. By weaving those personal touches into your tablescape, you create more than just a pretty table: you create a space for memories.
When it comes to a spring tablescape, mixing shades of pinks, greens and whites throughout your décor not only highlights the beauty of the season but also creates a soothing, cohesive palette that feels both fresh and timeless.

So, gather some fresh flowers, a few special keepsakes and your favorite springtime colors, and let your table bloom! Whether you’re hosting or just decorating for fun, styling a spring tablescape is the perfect way to welcome the season into your home friend.

Our Family’s Favorite Three-Bean Salad
Three-bean salad has been a favorite in our household for years, especially during the spring and summer. It’s one of those recipes that feels like home: simple, flavorful and always a crowd-pleaser at barbecues, picnics and family dinners. Made with a medley of green beans, wax beans and kidney beans tossed in a tangy-sweet dressing, it’s easy to prepare and gets even better after resting in the fridge. We always make it ahead of time, knowing it tastes best the next day when all the flavors have had a chance to meld together. It’s light, refreshing and guaranteed to be a hit at your next gathering!
Ingredients:
- 1 (15 oz.) can green beans, drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can wax beans, drained
- 1 (15 oz.) can light kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- ½ cup chopped onion (you can add more if you prefer)
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Combine the Beans: In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, wax beans, kidney beans and chopped onion.
Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper until the sugar is dissolved and the dressing is well blended.
Create the Salad: Pour the dressing over the beans and onion mixture. Toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly. I like to taste test here and, if needed, add a little more of the dressing and/or sugar.
Marinate: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the salad to an airtight container. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least three hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve and Enjoy: Before serving, give the salad a gentle toss. The dish tastes even better the next day, so feel free to prepare it ahead of time!
To make it into a complete meal, serve it alongside grilled chicken for a balanced, light and flavorful meal.
