A Week of Wreaths: Day 1 – The TEXT-ured Wreath
This year, go beyond the greenery with your holiday door decor and try a textural paper wreath. Put your own spin on it with pages that have personal significance.

How to do it:

  • Gather together a Styrofoam wreath base and pages from an old book.
  • Tear the pages and, at the bottom edge, fold loosely accordion-style three to four times. Starting at the outside top edge, staple the folded papers in place.
  • Repeat these steps moving clockwise along the circumference of the wreath, winding in until the entire form is covered.

More ideas: Try spray-painting the edge of the book pages in several holiday colors before you tear them out. The colors will highlight the pages and add a touch of festive color to your wreath.
