Craft a simple and unique piece of art for your home.

Created and photographed by Courtney Vettel

Personalize your décor with this quick and easy project from blogger/stylist Courtney Vettel
(@thevettelfarm on Instagram).

“It’s such a fun way to welcome guests, share an inspirational quote or even tell a joke,” Courtney says. “Put it together once, then use it again and again in various spots throughout your home through
the seasons.”

What You’ll Need:

  • An empty window frame or other architectural piece you love
  • A ball of twine
  • Scissors
  • Staple gun with staples
  • Metal letters (Courtney used vintage letters she found on eBay, but you can also find letters with pre-cut holes or use mini clothespins to hang letters)
  • (optional) Mini clothespins (They can be found at craft stores and online)

What You’ll Do:

  • Decide how many lines you’d like to add to your frame
  • Measure the width and cut twine accordingly
  • Tie a knot at each end of the twine lines and staple to the backside of your frame
  • Hang letters from twine, clip on letters with mini clothespins or use letters with holes
    • Place your frame wherever you wish and enjoy!
